Photo: PixabayThe Council of Ministers of BiH passed a decision on the joint sale of the former SFRY permanent mission to the UN in New York for 50 million dollars, for which no successor state of the former state is interested, as well as the decision for Serbia to buy the SFRY residence in Bern from the remaining four successor states for 7.7 million Swiss francs.
"The Joint Committee for the Distribution of Diplomatic and Consular Property of the former SFRY accepted the purchase price in the amount of 50 million US dollars, which is the highest offer considering that the last offered price was 42.5 million US dollars, and the value of the property was estimated earlier to 30 million US dollars," the Council of Ministers announced.
They added that the share of Bosnia and Herzegovina is 15 percent of the total amount, ie 7.5 million US dollars. Also, the distribution of possible costs that will be incurred during the sale of real estate in the process of joint sale of the Permanent Mission of the former SFRY to the UN in New York will be done in the same way.
At the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers made a decision on approving the joint sale of the embassy/residence building of the former SFRY in Bern.
It is recalled that earlier, the Joint Committee for the Distribution of Diplomatic and Consular Property of the former SFRY accepted the purchase price of Serbia in the total amount of 7.78 million Swiss francs.
Kako je Srbija jedna od pet suvlasnica ove nekretnine, 4.706.900 švajcarskih franaka predstavlja otkup suvlasničkih udela od ostale četiri države (Bosna i Hercegovina, Hrvatska, Severna Makedonija i Slovenija).
Donošenjem ove dve odluke omogućava se nastavak sprovođenja Aneksa B Sporazuma o pitanjima sukcesije i rešavanja pitanja raspodele diplomatsko-konzularne imovine bivše SFRJ.
