REAL ESTATE AGENCIES INCREASED THEIR REVENUE BY 25% LAST YEAR, CBS DOUBLED PROFITS

According to the data of the credit rating company CompanyWall, a total of 1,367 companies in Serbia are engaged in providing sales and leasing services for real estate, as well as consulting activities and evaluation services, among which 792 are entrepreneurs. They all earned a total income of 6.5 billion dinars last year, which represents a more than 25% increase over the previous two years, when total revenues were 5.1 billion (2019) and 6.2 billion (2020).

When you look at the structure of these companies according to the realized profit, taking into account only those that employ more than ten people, it is evident that they are big players in the market, reports the portal biznis.rs.The first on the list is CBS International d.o.o. Belgrade, one of the regional leaders that has been operating in Serbia for two decades and which in 2021 achieved a profit of 235 million dinars. That is more than double the result compared to 2020, when the profit was 106.5 million. Total revenues also increased, from 650 to 972 million dinars.

The second company according to realized profit is CBRE d.o.o., which earned 71 million dinars last year. That's a slightly weaker result than in 2020, but that's why total revenues increased from 540 to 570 million dinars. This company operates within the CBRE SEE group and has offices in eight countries in Southeast Europe. 

The third company in terms of realized profit with domestic capital is NS Group nekretnine d.o.o. from Novi Sad, which has 150 employees and earned more than 24 million dinars last year. This is a significant increase compared to the pandemic of 2020, when it recorded a minus and even three times better than the results from 2019.
