Photo: PIXABAYAccording to the Republic Geodetic Authority's latest report, 15,528 contracts for the sale of real estate worth 698 million euros were concluded in Serbia in December last year, which is 48.7 percent more money than in December 2020.
The amount of money in December was 21.6 percent higher than in November 2021. After December, the months with the highest money turnover in this area last year were November (573.9 million euros), March (572.2 million euros) and June (552.3 million euros).
The number of completed sales contracts, at 15,528, represents a 21.4 percent increase over December 2020.The number of real estate purchase contracts in December was 12.6 percent higher than in November 2021. After December, the largest number of contracts last year was realized in March (15,076), April (14,549) and June (14,452).
In December of last year, credit funds paid 12 percent of the realized turnover for all types of real estate. Apartments were the most commonly purchased with loans; of the total number of apartments sold, 27 percent were paid with credit funds, with Belgrade having the highest proportion of credit-purchased apartments (31 percent).
