The maximum speed on the 41-kilometer section from Podgorica to Kolašin, which passengers use to avoid the Morača canyon, is limited to 100 kilometers per hour.
According to RTCG, three lanes await drivers after passing the toll booth. Driving in reverse or U-turns is strictly prohibited. They advise not to panic if you miss the highway exit. Also, you should respect the posted signage.
"Everything that happens in the closed part of the highway, i.e. in the tunnels, is covered by cameras. In the event of any problem, all competent services are activated from the command center - the police, firefighters, but also those who maintain and monitor the highway," says the RTCG.
A month ago, the Government of Montenegro adopted a proposal for a decision on the amount and method of toll payment on the first section of the Bar-Boljara highway, according to which the toll for motorcycles will be 1.5 euros, for cars 3.5 euros, and for buses and trucks 17 euros.
