It is a center for research and development of MetaHuman technologies that will support the development of hardware and software solutions for the creation of photorealistic digital humans. The space will have an auditorium with 240 seats, offices that enable flexible work, rooms for working in silence, as well as a special zone for socializing and connecting the community.

"The choice of location for our campus was not random at all," said Uroš Sikimić, Business Development Lead at 3Lateral. "The fact that it is located across the University of Novi Sad shows that we are focused on creating a solid and even stronger collaboration with creators, educators, and researchers through the entire range of tools and programs that Epic Games provides. Building the auditorium will allow us to share knowledge and collaborate with our partners, as well as with the entire creative community."
The campus is designed to support the entire cycle of modern technological processes, from early research to product delivery itself. It will house facial and body scanning facilities, as well as a motion capture and sound design studio, among other things.

In an architectural sense, the project was designed so that, in addition to the needs of the team, it also respects the environment in which it is located, nurtures the spirit of the region and complements the appearance of Radnička Street and its greenery. Neighbors who live near the campus were also taken into account, so the location of the facility has an appropriate distance from other buildings. Additionally, due to the underground garage, all employees and visitors will have enough parking spaces.
Environmental sustainability is also one of the key aspects of the campus. The facade is designed to optimize energy losses and allow natural lighting and ventilation throughout the day. In addition, the building will have a green roof on which there will be mostly local plant species that will be watered with collected rainwater and thus enable the formation of a micro-ecosystem for insects and birds.
3Lateral recently confirmed the general contractor for the project, and construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Over the course of the project, the company will continue to encourage cooperation with local researchers, creators, and educators in its new facility located in the Science and Technology Park in Novi Sad, where it organizes educational programs and events dedicated to technologies from the MetaHuman and Epic Games ecosystems.
