After receiving permission to begin construction, the former Beobanka building on Zeleni venac will be transformed into Branko's Business Center in a year and a half. Located at one of the busiest traffic junctions in Belgrade, the old 14-story building will become a modern office building designed in accordance with the principles of green construction through reconstruction, adaptation, and rehabilitation, gradnja.rs reports.

The EUR 20 million investment is led by a Novi Sad company owned by Astoria Properties, which two years ago bought from Stattwerk a 14-story building of 10,500 square meters on the corner of Carica Milica and Brankova streets, of which 8,000 square meters will be rented out when the building is remodeled.

The Belgrade studio Folić architects signed the conceptual design of Branko's Business Center in reference to the work of Milica Šterić, who received the Sedmojulska Architecture Award for this work in 1961.

In compliance with the concept of sustainable development, as announced, the new modern office building in the city center will be built in accordance with the principles of green construction, with a focus on optimizing energy consumption, which will reduce tenants' costs to a minimum.

Tenants will be able to choose office space from 250 to 650 square meters. The advantage of the building is its flexibility and the possibility for users to arrange their part of the space in accordance with their own needs and requirements.

"The accent is on natural light, and especially on the green roof garden with a beautiful panoramic view of the capital," said a joint statement by SF1 Group and MPC Properties, which manages Branko's Business Center.

The benefits of this building include its excellent location, good connectivity with the rest of the city, its visibility, the view of Belgrade from it, as well as the fact that the building, which used to be the former business headquarters of Energoprojekt, was designed by Milica Šterić.
