Photo: beogradske.rsReconstruction of the Pioneer City on Košutnjak might begin by the end of the year, and the project's appearance was revealed yesterday, according to beogradske.rs.
According to the proposals, one part of the 11 abandoned pavilions will be removed and replaced with new structures, while another part will be adapted and repaired. New project will be abel to welcome around 570 children.
There will be new sports fields, swimming pools, and outdoor and indoor amphitheaters constructed. Over 23,000 square meters of extra space will be added in total. There will also be squares and organized spaces between the buildings for various outdoor activities.
According to Ljubomir Jovanović, director of the Pioneer City, the documentation for the renovation will be ready by the middle of this year.
The current complex, which is located in Košutnjak, was established in 1949 and encompasses approximately 17 hectares.
