PHASE ONE OF CONSTRUCTION OF NEW BUILDING OF CLINICAL CENTER OF SERBIA COMPLETED

The first phase of the reconstruction and construction of the Clinical Center of Serbia was completed and opened yesterday, as announced on the website of the President of Serbia. In this medical institution on 86,000 square meters, with latest-generation equipment, was invested 260 million euros.

The building now has a room for “robotic surgery”, featuring one of the most modern X-ray devices, as well as an intensive care space with a total of 231 beds.

According to the announcement, the entire project was paid from the budget, except for a small part that was financed from a loan.

The new building of the Clinical Center of Serbia will have a total of 825 hospital beds, and it has been announced that the first patients will be welcomed in seven days.

According to the director of the University Clinical Center of Serbia, Milika Ašanin, the new building of the Clinical Center on 12 floors will also have 34 operating rooms, eight angiography rooms, three MR rooms, six scanners and 12 X-ray cabinets.

According to the announcement, the Emergency Center, a part of the surgical department, plastic surgery, endocrinology surgery, neurology, hematology, gastroenterology, orthopedy and cardiac surgery will be moved to the new building.
