Photo: freepik.comThe Secretariat for Environmental Protection of the City of Belgrade announced a public call for support to citizens for the purchase of bicycles as an environmentally friendly means of transport.
The total funds to support the purchase of bicycles for the year 2022 provided for the implementation of this public competition in the budget of the City of Belgrade amount to 8 million dinars, of which 7 million dinars are designated for providing support to citizens, which means that 1,400 citizens of Belgrade can receive the allocated funds.
As stated in the invitation, the distribution of funds to support citizens for the purchase of bicycles, with a determined individual amount of 5,000 dinars each, was entrusted to the Initiative for Sustainable Urban Mobility "Urban.log" from Belgrade.
The right to participate is available to all natural persons of legal age who have a valid ID card and reside in the administrative territory of the City of Belgrade at the time of submitting the application and who have not previously used the voucher, reports ekapija.com.
Support for the purchase of bicycles can only be provided for the purchase of a new bicycle that is propelled by pedals or with the help of an electric drive, the call states.
Interested natural persons can apply until November 15, 2022, i.e. until the intended funds are spent, through a web application available on the website of the "Urban.log" Association at https://urbanlog.rs/kupibajs/.
