Photo: Udruženje pejzažnih arhitekata Srbije (UPAS)The tenth International Landscape Architecture Exhibition will be available to the public from today until June 30 in the Science and Technology Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA), while the official opening with the award ceremony is planned for Friday, June 9, at 6 p.m.
The Landscape Architecture Exhibition in Serbia has existed since 2005 in the form of a biennial exhibition where realized and unrealized projects, studies, publications, and student works are presented. The organizer of the salon is the Association of Landscape Architects of Serbia (UPAS).
This year's exhibition will feature 44 works in different categories from Serbia and abroad.
Visitors will be able to see design solutions for the arrangement of various spaces, starting from wider spaces and regions that offer solutions to the problems of nature protection, green infrastructure of cities, renewal of neglected spaces, and up to the design solutions of parks, street spaces, open green spaces, green roofs, and business gardens. Also, the exhibition will feature research reflections by students on the problems of landscape architecture.
The expert jury will award the best works in each category as well as the Salon's Grand Prize. The audience will also have the opportunity to see a retrospective display of nine winning works from previous salons.
During the duration of the manifestation, accompanying programs are scheduled in the form of thematic lectures and presentations of successful projects.
