The international, fifth manifestation and congress Sustainable architecture - energy efficiency will be held from 07 to 09 September in Belgrade at the Yugoslav Cinematheque.

Lectures, exhibitions, workshops, panels and the announcement of the winner of the competition "MICRO ECO HOUSE 2022" are scheduled. The congress is organized by the Association EKOKULT plus and the Magazine for Eco Architecture and Culture EKO KUĆA, in cooperation with architectural faculties from Belgrade, Zagreb and Podgorica.

Topics with a focus on sustainable development in architecture

The Congress, through all segments, will cover significant topics with a focus on a sustainable, ecological and energy-efficient approach in architecture with the use of renewable energy sources, appropriate materials, modern technologies and building systems.

Lecturers, authorities in these fields, through recent projects and studies, will bring the world, contemporary trends in architecture, design and visual arts in general closer to the public, through an appropriate sustainable and ecological approach to creative processes and new methods in architectural planning and design, with the use of renewable energy sources, clean and energy-efficient, green technologies, non-polluting and recycled materials. At the sponsor's exhibition, new technologies, products and materials applied in ecological, sustainable and energy-efficient architecture will be presented.

Two workshops at the congress

Two workshops are scheduled at the fifth jubilee congress. The first one, on the topic of using solar energy and its application in interior design and lighting, is led by Nina Edwards Anker, PhD, AIA member and founder of Nea Studio, specialized in architecture and interior design. The second workshop is led by Marina Zajec, an architect with an international certificate, an expert in green construction and a specialist in the construction of buildings with natural materials. Early registrations and payments - buying tickets with a 30 percent discount is possible until September 1. year, i.e. until the place is filled.
