On Tuesday, April 25, in the hall of the Yugoslav Film Archive in Belgrade, the awarding ceremony of the 45th Salon of Architecture, A Salon of Dialogues, the most significant exhibition of architectural creativity in our country, was held.
The annual exhibition in the field of contemporary architecture has been continuously organized by the Museum of Applied Art (MAA) since 1974, and this year the partner and co-author of the Salon concept is the Association of Serbian Architectural Practices (ASAP).
The Salon provides a comprehensive cross-section of architectural production at the national level with the guest participation of authors from the international scene and from the region, while in the competitive part of the program, awards, recognitions, and commendations are awarded within the provided categories, as well as the main prize of the Salon, the Grand Prix.
This year's jury, chaired by Prof. Dr. Werner Sobek, awarded the following awards and commendations by category:
ARCHITECTURE
The project "A house with a view of the Danube" by Milena Zindović (MZ Studio Architecture) received a commendation in the Architecture category.

In the architecture category, the jury decided to award the "Manhattan Concept K26 Project", URED architecture studio and RE:A.C.T.

ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY
The work "Dobrović in detail" by Miloš Kostić received a commendation in the Architectural photography category.
The award in the same category went to the work "Architecture between dodješ mi-dodjem ti" by Milica Lopičić.
ARCHITECTURAL CRITICISM AND PUBLICATION
Praise in this category went to the "Atlas of character types of the Belgrade landscape", whose authors were Nevena Vasiljević, Boris Radić, Anja Matić, Emilija Medojević, Suzana Gavrilović and Andreja Tutundžić.
The award in the Architectural Criticism and Publication category went to the work "Nikola Dobrović – The Shifting Modes of Critical Practice in Architecture" by Marija Milinković.
RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENT
In the research and experiment category we have two Commendations - "La Villette" architecture studio for children and "Who is an Architect Anyway?" Kiparh School.

Two prizes were awarded in the same category: the work "ECO figure – This WASTE is NOT a TOY" by Andrej Josifovski and the work "Red Line" by Branko Stanojević.
URBANISM
In the Urbanism category, no prize was awarded, but the work "Plateau with a fountain in the Great Park in Šabac" by Milena Zindović (MZ Studio Architecture) received a commendation.

INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE

In the Interior Architecture category, the jury decided to award praise to two works – “Polet Group Interior Project" by Antipod Studio and "AUTORI OFFICE" by the Belgrade Studio AUTORI.

The prize in the category of Interior Architecture was awarded to the project "Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka" by studio Lopičić&Lopičić, Pavel Stamenović and collaborator Miloš Jokić.
PROTECTION OF BUILDING HERITAGE
In this category, the project "Reconstruction of the Museum building at the archeological site of Median in Niš" was awarded by the team composed of Prof. Ivan Rašković, Prof. Borislav Petrović, assistant professor Miloš Komlenić and arch. Nada Jelić.
The award went to "Villa Porta Maestra", by MART Architecture.
45TH SALON OF ARCHITECTURE GRAND PRIX
The Grand Prize of the Salon of Architecture was awarded to:
"FETISLAM FORTRESS – RECONSTRUCTION OF THE 'VAROŠ' GATE ", company KOTO

"STRINGERS - THE EVOLUTION OF PRECARIOUSNESS, FREEDOM OF TESTIMONY", created in cooperation between the Efemera Collective and the Center for Research and Education on the Holocaust
COUNCIL RECOGNITION AND PUBLIC AWARDS
The novelty of this year's Salon is the Recognition of the Council of the 45th Salon of Architecture for exceptional engagement and contribution in the preparation, conception and presentation of the overall strategic document for the development and improvement of the architectural profession in the country, which was awarded to the "National Architectural Strategy" by Božana Lukić and Nebojša Antešević.

Also, the audience award was given, and it was won by the "A house on the Popare hill" of the Project Bureau KEJ from Valjevo.
