The Kula Beograd, an architectural masterpiece specific in many ways, thanks to its size, attractive shape and position on the river bank, stands out as the future symbol of Belgrade, said Zorana Burlić, director of the company Belgrade Waterfront in an interview for Real Estate magazin. Today, this magnificent building got its “crown” since the works on its facade are finished by placing a "curtain wall" on the roof.

The facade of the Belgrade Tower is composed of almost 14,000 glass and other panels, and a specific "birds first" glass with lines visible only to birds, which help them not to "collide" with the building, has been installed up to the ninth floor. As they say, glasses are spectrally selective, ie they transmit light to the maximum, and reduce energy loss.

The glass will be cleaned with the help of four pull-out cranes, weighing over 30 tons, which will speed up the cycle of cleaning the facade to about 55 working days.

The complete facade system was specially designed and manufactured for this building, bearing in mind that the Belgrade Tower is one of the few buildings in Europe that achieves a rotation of 90 degrees through only 10 floors, and due to the specific and complex geometry of the building it was not possible to apply some of the finished typical systems, writes rs.n1info.com.

As the investors explain, this is especially pronounced in the part where the Tower "bends", so the facade glass is curved there. The rotated silhouette symbolically represents the nearby confluence of the Sava and the Danube, and gives the building an impression of fluidity.

The length of the LED lamps that make up the media facade is more than eight kilometers, and the bulbs are energy efficient and extremely long-lasting.

In the Belgrade Tower, the first 11 floors are planned for The St. Regis Belgrade, the most luxurious brand from the Marriott International chain, while the first St. will be located from the 14th to the 39th floor. Regis branded luxury apartments in this part of Europe. Nobody will live on the 13th floor, but there will be technical rooms on it.

Instead of the usual 13th floor, a double level is planned on the 12th floor, and this number is not on the control panel of any of the 15 elevators in the building.

According to the research of the largest elevator manufacturer in New York, the 13th floor was left out of the control panel in the elevator in almost 90 percent of the hotels.

Branded St. Regis luxury apartments will be in the Belgrade Tower. It is a real estate that implies the advantages of the hotel brand whose name it bears. Apartment owners will have access to hotel services such as reception, swimming pool, spa and sports facilities, as well as St. Regis’ butler.

On the 41st floor of the Belgrade Tower, there will be a restaurant and a lookout point open to visitors, which can be reached by elevator in 25 seconds.

There will be a palace in front of the Tower, and according to the project, a third of it should be in greenery.
